Made from Maganese Zinc (MnZn), Magnetics ferrite cores offer economical solutions for a variety of applications including high frequency power transformers, power inductors, wideband transformers, common mode chokes, EMC filters, Current Sensors, and DC-DC Converters. Magnetics strip wound  cores line  includes tape cores, bobbin cores and C and E cut cores made from high permeability thin strip alloys of nickel-iron or grain oriented silicon iron. These alloys are known as Orthonol®, Alloy 48, Square Permalloy 80, Supermalloy and Magnesil® and Supermendur. Strip wound cores are used in a broad range of applications, including current transformers, inductors, magnetic amplifiers (MagAmps), pulse transformers, and output transformers, to name just a few.
