Earlier this year Magnetics
added a Short Form Ferrite Catalog to its technical library.
The 40 page document lists the complete Magnetics ferrite
product line in an easy to read format and serves as a quick
reference to all the latest ferrite shapes and sizes; including
the ER series, the ETD29, ETD54, U93, U126, UR64 and
PQ50.

Torotel Products' Kool Mu Segment
Solution
Torotel Products, in Olathe,
Kansas, looked to Magnetics Kool Mu material when designing a 125
amp boost inductor for a power conversion
application. Although the E core geometry was considered,
Torotel ultimately decided to design in Magnetics' large 133 mm
toroid from the new segment toroid line. The 00K133TC026
offered all the benefits of Kool Mu material and the size necessary
for the application.
