High Power/Inverter Design Seminar
With the global solar energy industry booming, Photovoltaic (PV) inverter technology has become a hot topic in the power supply industry. This includes not only the demand for export activities from China, but PV inverter design and innovation also has been highly promoted in the China domestic market . The High Power/Inverter Design Seminar, organized by Dianyuan.com, and sponsored by Magnetics, was held earlier in June, in Shenzhen, China.
Magnetics Application Engineer, Alan Chik presented "Magnetic Cores for Inverter Applications". Topics covered include the optimization of core selections in high power/inverter designs, as well as comparisons of different types of magnetic materials with regard to core loss, DC bias, frequency, and cost considerations

The larger facility (19,500 square feet/1,812 square meter) will better enable Magnetics to react quickly to the increasing global demand for powder cores and ferrites.
Magnetics will ship from the current location through end of business July 29, 2011 and will resume shipments from the new location on August 4, 2011. To minimize the impact on customer operations, Magnetics Customer Service will be contacting customers to make alternate shipping arrangements for those shipments that fall within the transition period.
