Hardware Data Now Available Online (02/22/2010)
Magnetics has added hardware information to the Advanced Search database found at |`www.mag-inc.com|. Now, when retrieving core data from either the Part Number Search or the Advanced Part Number Finder, corresponding hardware (bobbins, clips, headers, mounts, etc.) will also be displayed. If the hardware part number is known the information can also be retrieved directly from the Part Number search. Hardware datasheets are also available.

Inductor Design Software (12/10/2009)
Magnetics has updated its Inductor Design Software. The Inductor Design Software is an aid to assist design engineers in selecting the optimum powder core for inductor applications, specifically switch-mode power supply (SMPS) output filters, also known as DC Inductors. This revision includes the most current selection of parts, including E core and U core shapes, and also allows for the stacking of cores for increased height.
