Since 1949, MAGNETICS, the largest division of Spang & Co.,  has been a leading world supplier of precision, high permeability magnetic components and materials to the electronics industry. We specialize in research, design, and production of a broad range of high-quality magnetic cores for applications such as chokes, inductors, filters, transformers, and power supply components for end use in telecommunications, aerospace, military, computer, medical, and other electronics systems.

MAGNETICS Quality
All components manufactured by MAGNETICS are process controlled, from alloying of raw materials to producing finished cores.  This total in-house capability, coupled with a "Zero Defects" Quality control process, assures end users their applications will be performance guaranteed.  In addition, unexcelled service includes expert engineering assistance, software package recommendations, and finished parts inventories to satisfy both prototyping and volume deliveries.

MAGNETICS strives to supply only the highest quality products. All products are manufactured to conform to all electrical,View our RoHS Compliance Document dimensional and visual requirements. In order to deliver only the highest quality products, MAGNETICS adheres to the following procedures and standards:
  • Inspection procedure is in compliance with MIL-I-45208.
  • Calibration procedures comply with MIL-STD-45662.
  • Sampling inspection is in accordance with MIL-STD-105 and C=0 (1% AQL) sampling plans.
  • Internal visual standards, which meet or exceed the visual standards published in MMPA standards numbers PC-110 and UEI-310.
